The Role

As a Senior Automation Quality Engineer, you’ll play a key role in ensuring reliability and performance of our distributed systems. You’ll drive automation initiatives, design robust test frameworks, and mentor junior engineers while collaborating with product management, software, DevOps, data engineering, and security teams to maintain world-class quality.

Key Responsibilities

AI Platform Architecture

  • Implement a standardized internal framework for deploying and managing agentic AI systems.

  • Establish foundational engineering patterns for reliability, modularity, and scalability.

Orchestration & State Management

  • Implement logic for agent workflows, tool-calling, and human-in-the-loop approval systems.

  • Manage long-running, stateful backend services with high concurrency.

Observability & Compliance

  • Build and maintain deep tracing, monitoring, and audit logging systems to ensure AI-driven actions are transparent and compliant.

  • Enable end-to-end visibility across AI workflows.

Secure Execution

  • Build sandboxed and controlled execution environments for tool usage.

  • Ensure system integrity when handling dynamic or untrusted workloads.

Context Engineering & Data Pipelines

  • Implement real-time data retrieval pipelines to provide high-quality contextual input to AI systems.

  • Optimize integration across relational and NoSQL databases.

APIs & Internal Platform Services

  • Develop clean, well-documented APIs that expose AI platform capabilities to internal teams.

  • Collaborate with engineering and data teams to integrate AI systems into production workflows.

Automation & CI/CD

  • Implement automated testing and deployment pipelines for AI workflows.

  • Promote DevOps best practices to ensure fast, reliable releases.

Must-Have Qualifications

  • 3+ years of backend engineering experience with strong computer science fundamentals.

  • Genuine excitement about the AI field, follow the rapid shifts in the ecosystem (e.g., new models, MCP, agent frameworks).

  • Proficiency in Python (preferred) or Go / TypeScript.

  • Experience designing distributed, event-driven systems.

  • Strong understanding of observability (logging, monitoring, tracing, audit trails).

  • Hands-on experience with Docker and infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform).

  • Experience working with relational and NoSQL databases.

  • Ability to independently drive ambiguous, high-impact projects.

  • English proficiency for professional communication.

  • Eligibility to work in Vietnam or Thailand.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

  • Experience building infrastructure for AI/ML systems.

  • Familiarity with agentic AI frameworks (e.g., LangGraph, CrewAI, PydanticAI).

  • Experience with RAG architectures and vector search systems (e.g., Pinecone, Weaviate, MongoDB Atlas Vector Search).

  • Experience with secure container isolation or sandboxed execution environments.

  • Background in high-concurrency or asynchronous system design.
